Dry-Labs
The Virtual Reality Lab
was developed to realize evidence based ophthalmosurgical
education. Vitreoretinal strategies as well as
vitrectomy mashines are introduced before vitreoretinal
interventions are performed on practice eyes and in the
virtual reality environment of the VRmagic Simulator.
International experts/instructors will assist the participants
in a variety of substantial procedures as: targeting
strategies, drug injection, vitreous removal in different
diseases, posterior vitreous detachment, peeling of the
inner limiting membrane (different entities), bimanual
coordinated maneuvers and management of complications
(e.g. bleedings, retinal holes).
